The focus for testing sample should be in response to patient’s or their care giver’s credible complaints regarding suspected spurious drugs - The focus for testing sample should be in response to patient’s or their care giver’s credible complaints regarding suspected spurious drugs or in regard to market areas or companies or dealers about whom information is available that they are engaged in dealing in spurious, sub-standard or adulterated drugs – the Director General of Police directed to conduct more effective raids against the suspected dealers in spurious drugs, and to submit a better compliance report – held that in case spurious steps not taken by the Drugs and Police authorities to comply with the directions, this Court would have no option but to again summon the Drug Controller and the apex police authorities to seek their explanation as to why serious and effective steps are still not being taken for fighting the menace of trade in spurious drugs.
