New Delhi, Mar 13 (IANS) A man dealing in stolen and spurious
drugs has been arrested and medicines worth Rs.270,000 seized from him,
it was announced Saturday.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said Mahesh Kumar had the fake
medicines with him when he was arrested.
While some of the drugs were stolen from government clinics, laboratory
tests confirmed some others to be spurious.
The CBI and the Delhi Drugs Control Department had jointly raided
Kumar's rented room near the Red Fort here.
Kumar was trapped by a decoy who had struck a deal to buy medicines at
half the market price, the CBI said.
